Kite Options:
2025 Naish Pivot
Who It's For:
Year after year, the Pivot remains steadfast within the Naish lineup, their most versatile kite with amazing flying ability, top-tier quality materials and second-to-none craftsmanship. Results in competitive kiteboarding are a trademark attribute to the Pivot's abilities as a powerful weapon across all disciplines, claiming Big Air Championships, Surf World Titles and marking itself as one of the best do-it-all kites. Its all-round capabilities benefit the everyday kiter looking for a controlled ride, and pro riders pushing the limit of what's possible.
Why We Chose This Kite:
- Easy to restart if it hits the water: Falls happen when you're learning. This kite pops back up off the water with a simple pull, so you spend more time riding and less time swimming. (All thanks to the TLS 500 bridle lines for fast, low-drag relaunch!)
- Stable and predictable in the air: Thanks to its 3-strut frame and mid-range aspect ratio, it parks calmly where you put it instead of darting around, which is exactly what you want while your reflexes are still developing.
- Built to survive the learning cuve: A reinforced canopy and wingtips shrug off crashes and drags, so it lasts for years.
- Works across a wide range of wind One kite covers more days at the beach, so you can get out and practice more often instead of waiting for perfect conditions.
Board Options:
Included Option: PKG Kiteboard
Built for rapid progression, the PKG is one of our most unique, easy-to-ride boards. Engineered to make board control as easy as can be, the PKG features asymmetrical bottom contours, including a turned-up toeside to minimize edge catch, and a long, single concave set towards the sharp heelside edge, for effortless heelside bite. Allowing you to jam upwind and not worrying about catching that toe edge, it is the ideal board to get you up and riding. Features:

Control Bar Options:
North Navigator PRO
The Navigator PRO Control System 2024 Bar boasts an array of safety features to keep you secure on the water. With a tighter loop and stiffer security finger, the risk of accidental unhooking is drastically reduced. The single-action-reload Quick Release requires more force to release, ensuring peace of mind in high-stakes situations. ISO 21853 compliance guarantees top-tier safety standards.
Equipped with a revolutionary Auto-Untwist Mechanism it was never more comfortable untwisting the bar after loops or rotations. The mechanism comes with Zirconia ceramic bearing so it operates smoothly and reliably, eliminating frustrating tangles. Zirconia ceramic offers exceptional durability and resistance to wear and corrosion, ensuring long-lasting performance in any conditions.
The Navigator PRO is 20% lighter and 20% stronger thanks to its new engineered truss structure. A seamless integration of an injection-molded stainless steel center provides unparalleled strength and durability. The micro-textured dual compound grip offers maximum traction and comfort, allowing you to stay in control even during the most intense sessions.
North is using the highest-quality lines, the Liros Dyneema SK99. The Navigator PRO's lines are made in Germany to the highest standards. Thinner back lines (⌀ 1.55mm Front Lines, ⌀1.33mm Rear Lines) reduce drag in stronger wind conditions. While different line thicknesses ensure even shrinkage between front and rear lines. Spare parts are available in various lengths to suit your needs.
With the innovative Modular Toolless Interloop System, you can quickly switch between different chicken loops. That makes it easy to switch between disciplines without hassle. Whether you're into freeride, freestyle, or surfing, the Navigator PRO has you covered.
The North Navigator PRO Control System 2024 Bar is the ultimate choice for kiteboarders who demand the best. Elevate your riding experience and conquer the waves with confidence. Gear up with the Navigator PRO and unlock your full potential on the water.

What is aspect ratio?
A kite's aspect ratio measures its wingspan relative to its depth (chord), directly determining stability, relaunch ease, and performance. Low aspect ratio kites (shorter, deeper profiles around 3.0) offer maximum stability, effortless water relaunching, and forgiving handling — making them the ideal choice for beginners, wave riding, and freestyle. High aspect ratio kites (wider, narrower profiles approaching 5.0) maximize upwind performance, top-end speed, and lift, making them best suited for advanced freeriders, big air chasers, and racers.
Considerations for kite size by your local conditions:

How do I choose my first kiteboard?
When you're a beginner, focusing on a board with plenty of surface area that is fairly flat with a forgiving shape lets you focus on the fundamentals. A budget-friendly entry-level board (like the PKG) is a smart choice, as you can upgrade later once you discover your riding style. That said, investing deliberately from the start can be a good idea if you're confident you'll stick with the sport and want to avoid potentially costly upgrade.
