The Spike Textreme is the ultimate weapon for the kiter looking for the ultimate light wind performance. The board takes all the characteristics of the Spike and uses the Textreme Carbon construction techniques that North Kiteboarding have perfected over the last 5 years to make the most responsive and agile light wind board on the market. Ride the Spike Textreme and close your eyes and you will think you are on a normal sized twin tip. The board is 20% lighter than the standard version and feels infinitely more agile under your feet, giving the rider plenty of feedback. The Spike Textreme has some unique flex characteristics that allow it to plane early, but also to deliver an impressive amount of pop, making it very fun to ride. Tech & Features
Absorption Flex Tip
Based on a unique new construction of the board in the tip area, the scoop rocker line ensures better response to changing situations. In underpowered riding, the board remains flat for fast planing. In overpowered riding, the scoop bends and provides for an increased level of control and stability. The flex tips absorb shocks and enable soft landings.
Hard Flex
North Hard Flex option features the most aggressive flex + pop in our range. Boards with North Hard Flex have more dynamic power development when jumping, more stiffness for better control on ultra-hard landings and a unique pop to always be one step ahead of your competitors!
Torsion Flex
The special shape of the 3D cap allows torsion of the long axis of the board. This gives them more grip on the heel-side edge, rich and smooth landings, a direct drive and better upwind performance.
Mono Concave Bottom
Early planing, comfortable, and smooth on one side but scary fast and dynamic on the other side are key features of the boards with our Mono Concave construction! Try it; you'll love it!
The Track System
"The Track" is the new mounting system of our twintips. Two sliders made out of reinforced plastic are laminated into the boards during the production process. Textreme Carbon
In 2012 we will be using one of the advanced fabrics in composite constructions. Textreme Carbon Spread-Tow-Fabrics from OXEON. Since the material proved its futuristic performance in the 2011 Select, we decided to splash it on the new Team Series, too! Having the perfect mix of lightweight, durability, flex and excellent rebound abilities, Textreme is the secret ingredient to our high performance kiteboards!

2014 North Vario Straps
The Vario Combo Straps and Pad set returns for 2014, now an integral part of the North Kiteboarding collection. Designed for simplicity, the Vario footstrap system works great with not only North kiteboards, but will also fit a miscellany of different boards and thread spreads.
2014 North Entity Straps
The North Kites NTT strap system is widely named the "most customizable strap on the market". With the entity strap you can adjust virtually every aspect of the strap. From pad density to strap angle and everything in between, the NTT delivers for any foot shape with just a little tweaking.
