The aptly named Cabrinha Drifter surf kite pioneered a new wave of kitesurfing in 2012 with its unprecedented slack line stability and crazy fast turning. After two years of refinement the Drifter kite is back with a fresh look, improved durability, and upgraded control system. The 2014 keeps all the surf specific feel and performance of previous years while adding 2DR double strand ripstop material, lightweight Skeletal frame technology, and improved lightwind safety release usability. 2014 Cabrinha Overdrive 1X Control Bar
New Cabrinha Overdrive 1X bar now offers faster turning on demand with the ability to length your bar as needed. By moving to the new Overdrive system Cabrinha kites is able to lower the front V connection to the CAS which provides a more direct input to your kite from you. After years of the super safe IDS system Cabrinha keeps safety at the top of the list with 90% shut down in all conditions.
2015 Cabrinha Overdrive 1X Control Bar
For 2015 Cabrinha takes the next step forward in ease of use for their bar system. The 2015 Overdrive adjustable bar will adjust to fit any size kite as well as providing a more effective swivel, easiest release/reconnect safety yet, and single line flagging system for more reliable depower in every condition. Also being compatible with all previous Cabrinha models this the most capable Cabrinha Control System ever. If you do not need an adjustable bar, the fixed bar model gives you the option to save some coin.
