Code Foils is proud to introduce the all-new Kanga Series, our most significant product release of the year and a completely new approach to foiling.
Rather than being designed as a traditional front wing, Kanga has been purpose-built around dock starts, flat-water pumping, paddle-ups and ultra-light wind riding. The goal was simple: create a foil that makes progression easier, builds confidence faster and opens foiling up to more people than ever before.
Built around exceptional stability, a forgiving lift profile and ultra-low stall speeds, Kanga gives riders more time to react, recover and refine their technique. Mistakes that would normally end a run can often be corrected, allowing riders to stay on foil longer and progress faster. The result is a riding experience that feels intuitive, confidence-building and, above all, addictive.
Most foiling disciplines rely on conditions. Wind, waves or tow. Kanga changes that. It transforms calm mornings, local docks and dead-flat water into rideable sessions, creating a new way to use the water every day.

Designer Notes:
The goal was simple: create a foil that makes progression easier, builds confidence faster and opens foiling up to more people than ever before. This wing is so slow it gives people the time to calibrate what they are doing, it is forgiving where if you make a mistake in a pump or an imbalance you can re-correct.

Session Impressions
Gear and Setup:
Will was using the Foil Scoot paired with the Code Kanga 1600 wing. He and some other guys were launching from a U-shaped dock that had no rails, making it perfect for dockstart beginners, with plenty of space for multiple people to launch.
Session Experience:
As a first-time pump foiler with only minimal prior experience from eFoiling, the Foil Scoot setup was incredibly fun and accessible. Initially, the technique involved jumping onto the board and letting it sink. However, progress came quickly, and riders were soon able to get to the point of executing 10 pumps or more per launch. Turning is still a work in progress, and rides were kept relatively close to the dock to avoid having to swim too far back.
Key Highlights:
- The scooter setup provided excellent balance and stability once foot placement was established.
- Attempting a board without the scooter handle resulted in immediate falls, demonstrating how much easier the scooter makes the initial learning progression.
- Sharing the gear with another rider created a great cadence for alternating between rest and active reps.
- Over a two-hour session, with approximately 20 to 30 attempts, the rider was able to make highly satisfying progress.
