What board size is right for you?
One question on every new winger’s mind is how many liters do I need in my wing board? Will it float me? Can I get away with a smaller size? Can I get one board to learn on that is small enough that I will never want to upgrade? The below chart provides a general framework for sizing your board based on weight and experience.

What Size Wing Foil Board is Right For You?
Which foil is right for you: FPump, FSUP or FWing?
*recommendations are based off learning in 18kts or more
In the Slingshot platform, there are a few options that are popular for Wing foiling but none more so than the FWing and FPump foils. These foils are more different than similar but are both excellent choices for wing foiling. So which one is right for you?
Which wing size is right for you?
As a general rule, a rider under 150 pounds should start with a wing around 4 square meters. For riders over that weight, a 5 meter wing will be a better place to start. This is very much an average - if you're riding in lighter winds or want more power, you'll want to go with a larger wing. If you're a light weight rider or winging in high winds, you'll want to go with something smaller.
If this is your second wing and you are looking for consistent, high performance across the whole wind range, it's smart to separate your wings by 1M increments for most models. That will ensure you are going to have a wing that is properly powered no matter what the wind is reading.
Perhaps you are looking to make each wing maximize its wind range, then a 2m gap works well until you get below 4m. At that point, you'll want to go to 1m gaps due to the exponential power of wind at higher speeds. Using this method, you'll have times where you are overpowered or underpowered at times depending on the range of wind and the sail you chose but it will help you maximize your range using fewer wings.

Wing Model and Specs
Slingshot Slingwing V3 Wing
Slingshot designed the all-new Slingwing V3 to give you significantly more power per size. Using a smaller wing in the same wind provides the advantages of higher speed and increased control with less weight and drag.
The larger strut and leading-edge diameter provide a completely rigid frame for big airs with tons of hang time. A tight canopy cancels oscillation and flutter to increases luffing performance. The V3's new elongated handle system allows riders to perfectly place their grip for maximum responsiveness.
The One Pump Speed System makes inflation quick and simple, while the added dump valve on the strut makes deflation and packing a breeze. The profile entry batten provides smooth aerodynamic shaping where the inflatable leading edge transitions to the wing canopy for efficient air flow across the wing. Light and tough 4x4 Canopy Tech material, combined with Slingshot's Skate Scuff tough strips on the wingtips and leading edge, provide increased durability for wherever you ride, land or sea. Like its predecessor, the V3 features harness-line attachment pigtails that allow you to use a harness for higher speeds, better tack angles and longer sessions.

- Smooth balanced flight
- Elongated handles for fine-tuning grip position

Inflatable Wing Foil Travel Package Success
While we have yet to use the foil (we have used the wing and a sup), we are beyond pleased with our purchase. It's not just the product, rather the above and beyond customer service received. We made a very inaccurate purchase based upon our level of experience and Mackite made everything right with utmost patience and style. So very grateful for our help with the purchase and can't wait to learn both kites and the foil! Ps - successfully took all equipment in the package plus an additional wing on an airplane
