What Slingshot has to say about the Dart Wing
In a category all its own, the Slingshot Dart sets a new standard in wings.
Finally, a hard-charging speed machine capable of rocket airs and unlimited hang time. Push The Dart and The Dart pushes right back. Designed to escape the monotony of low power wings meant for cruising swell, the Dart is an animal all its own. Speed records will be set, hang time will be counted.
If you are done drifting down swell and want to take your wing straight to the stratosphere, pushing boundaries in every dimension... grab a Dart and set your target.
Features
- Rigid frame for unlimited speed
- Massive lift in jumps
- Hangtime like you've dreamt about
- Crazy full power tack angles
- Harness line attachment points:
- Soft Neoprene under LE Handle
- Handles free from rough seams
Technology
Y-HANDLE WING TENSIONERS
Provides increased upwind angles and more powered jumping, while also functioning to keep the wingtips pulled in and the wing full of power under intense wind pressure.
KEVLAR PATCHES
Strategically placed Kevlar patches have been placed on areas of high abrasion (wingtips) to protect and reinforce from any ground friction that may occur.
HARNESS LINE ATTACHMENT
Pigtail attachment points allow for quick connection of the Slingshot universal harness line.
SOFT NEOPRENE PATCH UNDER THE FRONT LE HANDLE
Comfort and an easy grip make for longer sessions. A neoprene soft patch saves your knuckles and gives you a safe area to move and slide your hands while positioning the wing.
LEASH ATTACHMENT PIGTAIL
Stay connected to your wing by attaching the included wrist leash with a simple Larkshead knot onto the leash pigtail.

Darts 4 and 5
Adv. Beg.can jibe 95percent, but no foil jibes, because my 75 year old feet don't cooperate, and have not been able to run in 17 years. Rode Dart 5 about 60 days to check it out. Have ridden '22, '23, '24 wings that size. Bought Dart 4 last week, got to use it in 10-22 mph wind and 10-30 wind. Great wing! Foils up in 14, good to 27 mph, but at my age, maybe not safe at 30+ mph gusts. 165 lbs. Best deal around, both wings solid and easy to ride.

Can't beat it
When I noticed the great prices on the dart I pulled the trigger on a 4M, and after using it a few times I can say it feels very powerful for the size! And you just can't beat that price! It takes a little getting used to it but so far so good! Thinking about getting another one soon.

Dart 3m
Overall quality and finish are similar other wings. I did notice a dropped stitch at the tip of the wing. The air dumps fell into the wing and nearly lost them inside the wing. The wing powers up close to recommended wind speeds. Once the canopy is full, the power is quick to follow. It does like to wander while holding the leading edge handle. It seems to be in all wind speeds. No windows help in packing up at the end of the day. One other item after two weeks is that the handles are not as stiff as they were on day one. I like the wing. It’s a bit quirky, but it does the job. Work on land too for wing skating.

Great for low to medium wind and beginners
I have never done this sport. At 6'3" 225, this wing is great for the flats in winds of 9-13 mph. On a mountain board on pavement, going flat, this thing will get MOVING! Kinda faster than I'm comfortable riding with only a helmet. Super easy to inflate (once you figure out how to get the hose to stop popping off the wing), and don't forget to open the "transfer" tube from the leading edge to the center section. Haven't quite figured out how to pump the air out of it. I had some windsurfing and skateboarding experience so understanding how to 'power' and 'de-power' the wing was pretty easy. Just remember pivot with the leading hand and adjust power with the trailing hand. Tons of fun all around! WEAR A HELMET!

Dart
I was looking for a wing that was well made, went up wind well & affordable. Having heard & seen the Dart in action a few years ago I was interested in it, even back then, but like most I thought it was a wing for pro’s. I decided to take then plunge when Mackiteboarding had a super sale on a Dart 3 wing pack. It was exciting when the wings arrived (within 8 days with excellent service) not really knowing if I’d bought a gem or a disaster . First day the Dart was a huge surprise fast with great upwind. Just wants to go , I loved it so much I bought an extra wing as well. The price was amazing for such performance. Sold all my Takuma RS wings, which always seemed to have holes in them. I now ride only the Dart for now.
