What Cabrinha has to say:

The Swift didn’t follow the mid-length movement. It started it.

For 2026, the original mid-length foil board returns refined, rebalanced, and purpose-built for where wing foiling and parawinging are heading next. Designed specifically around efficiency and glide, the Swift pairs a narrow outline with a displacement-style hull to deliver clean release, early lift, and effortless acceleration in light wind conditions.
A refined rocker line and updated rail shapes improve stability and control, allowing the board to fly sooner and maintain speed with less effort. The updated volume distribution, combined with a slightly wider mid-section, makes touchdowns more forgiving while preserving the fast, efficient feel that defines the Swift.

All sizes have been thinned to create a lower-profile deck, bringing the rider closer to the foil for tighter control and a more connected ride. An expanded and refined size range ensures each board is tuned with purpose, creating clean progression and a precise fit for more riders.

Built in Pro Carbon construction, the Swift is significantly lighter than previous generations, reducing swing weight and increasing responsiveness across all conditions.
The Swift remains the benchmark for mid-length performance. Not reimagined, not reinvented, simply perfected.

Session Impressions

I got a chance to take out the third version of the Cabrinha Swift, which is their 6'0" x 20 1/4", 86-liter midi board.

What I noticed right out of the gate is its complete stability. The board has a lot of surface contact on the bottom, so it feels incredibly stable when you climb up to get started. Once up on foil, it feels very well-balanced. I also really like the three-color deck pad (white up front, light blue, and dark blue), which makes it easy to quickly find your sweet spot and visually locate where your feet are on the board.

  • Stability: The bottom design and overall shape pack a lot of stability into a 6-foot board, making it feel very secure when starting.
  • Balance: Once on the foil, the board feels extremely well-balanced and smooth. It does not ride like a typical 6-foot board.
  • Light Wind Performance: Because the bottom is quite flat, it may not get up to speed as quickly as other midis in ultra-light wind, but with some active pumping, it easily releases surface tension to get on foil.
  • Versatility: An excellent do-it-all option. It is a solid contender for wing foiling, prone riding (though you will want a bit more wind due to the shape), and even foil drive setups.

Overall, Cabrinha did a great job with version 3 of the Swift. They have taken the board, made it slightly longer, and reshaped it to provide excellent stability despite its 20.25-inch width, which did not feel narrow at all compared to similar boards. This is a solid, well-constructed board that I would highly recommend to any customer looking for their first midi board that can handle just about any discipline on the water quite well.
