Game changer
I have about 70 sessions under my belt in wing foiling and coming from a surfing background, it was a struggle to ride switch. I got good at foiling on my knees instead when going that direction. Bad habit. First time on this board and I rode switch 10X more than I ever could before...and that was on extremely marginal winds (8-10 knots). I have not even tried to foil on my knees again. If I had had this board from the start, I would have probably been 3X better than I am today and would have saved over $3.5K buying a typical 110 wing board and then a 90L (both of which are +2 lbs heavier than this board). Every board has it's trade-offs, and in my second session in severe chop and gusty conditions, it was a bit of a mess to quickly find where I like my feet to be. I'll probably mark up my front deck pad to help with that. But once the board is moving, it becomes much more stable. I might try to prone with this board (I am not much of a SUPr), but mostly I bought it to wing in light winds and it is AMAZING for that. It feels sturdy from a construction standpoint and works entirely better with my Armstrong foils than both of my other two boards. If you come from a surfing background and are struggling as a beginermediate, this is your board.

DW Foilboars
I got the 105L. It’s light and has incredible hull speed for early lift. Makes life incredibly easy and it tracks like a beast while riding swell with the wing flagged out. Great job Naish. Don’t know if I’ll ever go back to a little board.
