DETAILS

The Drifter is pretty darn self-explanatory, to be honest. Need a kite that's great in the surf with plenty of ability to play well with a foil? Look no further! While the Drifter may not be the most powerful kite in the game (rides a half size or so underpowered), it's absolutely fantastic for its ability to turn the power on and off like a light switch. 

This kite also has the capacity for either onshore or offshore settings by changing your bridle; this really adds to the flexibility and tuneability of the kite. Plays well in all conditions!

TECH

HIGH TENACITY DACRON

Cabrinha's Dacron is specifically designed for inflated kite structures. The construction of this material is very warp orientated using ultra high tenacity yarns with an increased thread count to combat elongation in the warp direction under the high inflation pressures. Lower elongation make for a more accurate kite with less deformation while in flight.

NANO RIPSTOP CANOPY

A higher level of performance can only be achieved when the kite's design properties are supported by a stable and reactive kite material. Nano Ripstop does just that.

CERAMIC PULLEYS

Zirconia (ZrO2 or Zirconium Oxide) is known for its extreme strength and ability to withstand high heats and abrasion. Zirconia is the perfect material for the new Ceramic Pulleys.
