Kiteboarding at Oval Beach / Saugatuck

There is a large dune overlooking the beach that generates a thermal near the shore and extends out a short distance. This place fires on a south or north when the sun is shining. It can be dead calm inland and blowing stink at Oval on a south. This is a county launch that has a toll. Turn left into the county parking lot. Turn right and you will meet a large local gay population. Don't kite in your thong in this place unless you want to meet some very interesting people.
