As I sit here trying to get work done, I'm continually distracted by the sight of my red white and blue Aggression board. I had the pleasure of riding this board for the last three months of the 2005 season, and I simply can't wait to get back it on the water.

When GS suggested that I switch to his new 128 x 39cm with flex tips, I thought well, he was right about my first custom (132x37)...which is now in the hands of another local rider, so I'll take the gamble and see what's in store.

The gamble, not really a gamble as I know GS would have done everything to get me on the right board no matter how long it took, paid off the first day. I was intially afraid that going shorter would reduce the low end, it didn't. I also thought all the hype about flex tips was overated (by every manufacturer), it wasn't in this case.

The board edges better than any board I've ever ridden. They pop off the water with a vengance, and the flex tips soften up the chatter and landings at high speed as well. The new straps and pads are industry standard, on high end production boards. The footbed placement is perfect for me, and the weight and durability...I think everyone knows how solid and light the boards are.

Almost every board I've ever ridden was fun, but some are more fun than others. Then, there's Aggression, nothing even comes close.

I feel the same way. I put my Phatty the basement by my workout equipment. That way if I do work out I have some motivation. However I really never work out so out of sight out of mind.

The Barn Door is chillin' with Sean in GR apparently it thought I was neglecting it

only a few more weeks

No worries Sean. It was my pleasure to let you take it down on your trip. Hope you liked the ride. The Barn Door is my go to board anymore, even in the waves with the mini fins. I can't wait to try the new Super Phatty. It is going to be a sweet board.

cheers
