WF2 Foil Board
Size 4'10" x 20.5" x 1.45"
This board includes fin boxes for FCS II or FCS fins but does NOT include fins.
The Slingshot Wakefoiler WF.2 board is a welcome addition to our wakefoil board lineup. It has ample surface area for any rider to getup behind the boat while not being too large for performance maneuvers. It also happens to fit in most wakeboard boat racks, which makes leaves plenty of room on the boat for your admirers or "human ballast". For 2019, this is a new board and basically a soft top adaptation of the WF1 board that we love so much. That nice soft top is perfect for new riders, easy maintenance, and boat protection.
We have also found this board to be a popular choice for kiteboarders. Due to it's thin design, it board starts in a way more similar to twin-tip designs that most kiteboarders are familiar with. It also allows for easier strapless board starts since it sits lower in the water. This board has enough plane-ability to get novice riders foiling and perform in light winds with ease. The full length deck pad is also a nice touch for performing tricks in a variety of lift situations.

How to Assemble
Cannot beat the price or quality for a beginner filer or wanting to get into foiling. I waited a few years for prices to drop. It was easy to set up and customer support answered my questions and helped me with my decision. The H2 wing is a must for low speed speed and early lift. Really makes it easy. Been riding for over 12 years and strapless is easy enough on the foil if you surf. I also went with the 29 in mast. As it is a nice middle ground to get you high enough and work on the basics while feeling comfortable. Love foiling now. Glad I took the dive.
This setup is very challenging for someone to get started out on ( even though I've been wakeboarding for over 15 years and wakesurfing for 5 years). I would absolutely recommend purchasing a shorter mast to learn on prior to going "full send" with the 36" mast. Unfortunately I set mine up with the 36" mast out of the box and the stainless hardware galded to the aluminum and I stripped the hex heads out. DO NOT PUT THIS TOGETHER WITHOUT ANTISEIZE OR TEFLON!!! I'm hoping I can slot this hardware out and get it removed that way then replace it.
Aside from that...suit up and prepare for the coolest riding experience you've ever had! Also, I want to give a shoutout to the guys a Mackite for their awesome customer service!
A easy foil to start out on. I was riding it my first time foiling behind a boat. The board is light enough, the traction is good, it planes fast, and rides well when you are trying to stay off the foil.
Only negative is the 1/2 foot straps striped out of the deck on my second session. The screws fasten into plastic inserts on the deck. I ride it fine without foot straps.
