1 Day Kiteboarding Lesson

This lesson is intended for previous students to brush up on their safety as well as new riders wanting to test out the sport without the two-day time investment of our camp.  Focusing on safety procedures and ground based learning this four hour class is also great for the self-taught rider who missed out on critical information in the learning stages.  Classes start at 10:00am.

Excited New Student Learning to Fly!Day Lessons are held on select Mondays starting mid-May through mid-October. Some last minute lessons may be available on Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday if a two day lesson is vacant.

If you have any more questions, feel free to call or email us at any time. Remember, if you don't start this year, you will still be just watching next year, wishing you were on the water with us.

*This lesson is not a replacement for a comprehensive lesson and provides no supervised water time.  For new riders, a private water lesson would be recommended to complete your learning experience.

This lesson focuses on:

  • Weather concerns

  • Wind speed and direction

  • Wind window

    It was ok, my instructor

Posted by james R. on 24th Aug 2013

It was ok, my instructor was cool. the wind wasn't good, so i was barely able to actually fly my kite. I learned how to launch my kite though and that was what i was the most concerned about. overall it was a decent experience the wind just sucked.
